Hi, I'm Tony
I am dedicating my life to helping people find healing and hope. I see myself as a pilgrim, a sojourner, and an encourager, walking alongside others on their journey. By profession, I serve as the editor of a large Christian news journal—finally putting my BA in journalism to good use. With over 40 years of experience in youth ministry, I’ve worked with teenagers professionally, crafted numerous faith-based curriculums, and developed a passion for guiding others.
Though I never considered myself an entrepreneur, I’ve discovered some of those tendencies within me. My blog was honored as one of the Top 100 Life Blogs and Websites To Follow in 2022 and recognized as one of the Top 30 Christian Men Blogs to Watch that same year. I’m also certified as a coach, speaker, and trainer with the John Maxwell Team, and I dabble as a part-time professional magician.
In June of 2018, my life took an unexpected turn when I suffered a severe concussion. Overnight, I developed a sensitivity to light and sound, along with cognitive issues that felt like my brain was enveloped in fog. The most challenging part was the deep emotional turmoil—anxiety, depression, and a profound sense of impending doom. It was post-concussion syndrome, and it has profoundly impacted my life. Thanks to counseling and the expertise of a great neurologist, I’m learning to manage these challenges.
Through Transformational Encouragement Academy, I aim to offer encouragement and support. I don’t claim to have all the answers or be some sort of wisdom guru. We’re all in this together. My hope is that through coaching and courses, I can share insights and encouragement—not just clichés or trendy advice—but genuine support that uplifts you. If I can help lift you up and make a positive impact on your journey, I’ll have achieved what I set out to do.
