Strength in Weakness
Feb 12, 2025Hey, y’all! Have you ever felt like you just didn’t have the strength to keep going? Maybe life feels overwhelming, and you’re at the end of your rope. If so, take heart—God’s strength shines brightest when we are weak.
2 Corinthians 12:9 reminds us, “But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
Embracing God’s Strength
We often think we have to be strong all the time, but God never asks us to rely on our own strength. He invites us to lean on Him. Think about Moses—he doubted his ability to lead Israel, but God reminded him that He would provide the strength needed.
Leaning on God in Tough Times
As a Christian life coach, I remind people that admitting weakness isn’t failure—it’s an opportunity for God to work.
Practical Ways to Rely on God’s Strength
- Pray for His Power: Ask God to sustain you.
- Read His Word: Let Scripture remind you of His promises.
- Let Go of Self-Reliance: Trust that God is working in your weakness.
- Lean on Others: A Christian community provides support and encouragement.
- Celebrate Growth: Recognize the ways God is strengthening you.
Final Thoughts
You don’t have to do it all on your own. God’s strength is available to you today. Let’s rest in His power and trust that He will carry us through.
